Anyone with Info on Rental Cars?

There are 6 of us, and I would like to rent a car in St. Maarten to go to both sides of the island and to do beaches. Does anyone have information on where the ships dock and/or any experience with any of the rental companies there! Thanks in advance!

The rental agencies at the pier have a limited number of vehicles and you could wait an hour for a car to come from the airport. Hertz and Budget have stalls at the pier. Check the web site and reserve there.
