kenorus Posted April 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Just wondering where the smoking areas are and the non smoking areas are on the ship. Hoping that you can not smoke in the restaurants. Just off of the celebrity equinox and it was nice that you could not smoke on the balconys or the cabins.

Irishlinny Posted April 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2011 so basically it is a smoking ship. All the ships allow smoking in designated areas and in the cabins and balconies (except Spa balconies, which Miracle doesn't have). One correction to Mach's list is that Sam's Piano Bar recently went non-smoking. You cannot smoke in the restaurants...
Blind Squirrel Posted April 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Unfortunately the piano bar is now ( or at least since last October ) is non-smoking.

7toEleven Posted April 10, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Unfortunately the piano bar is now ( or at least since last October ) is non-smoking. Well, not to argue, just to express my opinion, I am glad it is non-smoking so you could sing, otherwise would not have been able to sing.

It's a piano bar not kareoke. I don't want to hear passengers sing in the piano bar. They have a place for kareoke and that is not it.
maxxedout2 Posted April 10, 2011 #9 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Now this is a smoking ship!;) Funny picture Piano Bar, non smoking... funnier. Somebody must be bummed out that they can't sip on a DOD, a lite cigar in each hand, while humming Gershwin tunes until midnight. Bummer.:eek: PS...I am going to have a tough time talking DW into booking the Miracle for the Southern cruise next March now. Whoa, I don't mean she's a smoker ; not at all. LHP Posted April 10, 2011 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Just wondering where the smoking areas are and the non smoking areas are on the ship. Hoping that you can not smoke in the restaurants. Just off of the celebrity equinox and it was nice that you could not smoke on the balconys or the cabins. We just had friends who moved from Carnival to Celebrity and this was one of the major reasons....so I would think you would find it has more smoke than Celebrity does. Blind Squirrel Posted April 10, 2011 #11 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Unfortunately the piano bar is now ( or at least since last October ) is non-smoking. After rereading Mach's comments I realized I could be wrong as I only smoke cigars. I do remember I could not smoke in Sam's.

Ed, Singing or no, I still vote that I'm glad it is non-smoking. I do understand you vote another way.
