Pride of America - Port or Starboard Balcony

We are booked for a Starboard regular size balcony forward on an upper deck. A Port balcony same size same location is now available. I've read that both sides have advantages/volcano flow viewing at night vs. Napali coat sailby on Friday afternoon. Any ideas on whether I should try to change to the port side or stick with my starboard cabin?

Personally, I'd take the portside cabin. There may or may not be any lava flowing, or it could be rainy and foggy. We never saw lava. However, the portside cabins have the best view of the NaPali coastline. They do turn around and give the starboard a look, but you are further off shore. We had the portside corner aft suite, and the views in Kauai were A-MA-ZING.

We have just done B2B cruises in a port side cabin on POA. There was NO lava to look at in either of our sailbys - but that could change any day. We enjoyed the Na Pali coast from our balcony.

I also enjoyed the view from port side in each of the ports we were docked at.

Maui - view out to the ocean

Hilo - view to the ocean

Kona - view to land from anchor point

Kauaii - view of headland and harbour.
