The old town in Zurich is the place to be. We stayed in town at the Hotel Wellenberg and just took the shuttle back to the airport to meet the tour guide. The train to town is 15 minute ride plus the Movenpick shuttle doesn't run that often. Stay in town especially if you're not staying for along time. I loved Zurich....expensive but worth it.
