Buffets !!!

I've always wondered if people who love buffets on cruise ships love them on dry land as well?

 

If they're dining out with family and friends would they always prefer to go to Sizzler rather than an À la carte restaurant?

 

Yes, DH would definitely prefer a buffet over an a la carte restaurant!

It doesn't make so much of a difference to me, but I do LOVE veggies, and I can usually be persuaded to go to a buffet restaurant so I can eat all the veggies I want!!

The vegie/salad factor is a good one (depending on the line), but another factor is on most local ships there isn't a great deal of choice in dining. It's either MDR or buffet. Thus, it's not likely to be the same as on land, where you have a lot more choices available.
