The next morning, DH went to the omlette bar for his breakfast

 

 

 

He scarfed it down and said how good it was.

We didn't do much this day, just laid around and sat on the balcony watching the water and chatting. I have to say that kind of relaxation together does wonders for that sparkiness in a marriage!

 

Later that afternoon we went to the newly wed/marriage show it was FUNNY!!!!!

Then on to dinner! Our last night of food :(

Thanks for the info, I will suggest it to hubby. I really appreciated your pictures of the Legend. We are going CHEAP next year, and have booked one of those cabins on the main deck where the life boat is in front of you(but you get a door you can open, yippee) and while I have seen a view from the "cabin" it was nice to see the cabin from the other side. LOL grateful we don't have to spend all the time in it!

It was good, the sauce was to lemon/mustard tasting for me, but the meal was enjoyable. The tomato is roasted with olive oil, DH loved it. The Macaroni was my most favorite thing of all. MMMMM GOOD!

Oh good I am glad that picture was useful!! I think we will go cheap next time and take DD and my mom, probably a porthole or window cabin. They don't look to bad.

Once we docked it was about an hour before we could get off, we did self assist.

Progresso ended up being one of our favorite ports... not a lot to do 9we don't do ship excursions)... but a very relaxing day! DH and I both did the beach massages and they were heavenly!!!

 

We arn't planning much for our day in progreso. Figured we would do the double decker bus tour, have some lunch and massages!! We are saving our excursion for Cozumel!!

Fascination being a sister ship of Ecstacy-we did a porthole cabin M14 and thought it was great! Plenty of room and we could hear the ocean the first night( it was wavy on the sea) but our friends had a porthole cabin on the Riviera deck, and they could hear the ocean all the time, so we booked Riviera for our next Fascination cruise, I love the sound of the ocean! No, no shuttle, just a long walk, it really isn't to bad..... I think the Ship may have wheelchairs that can be used if needed!

 

There has always been a free shuttle from the ship to the town and back when I've been in Progresso (as recently as February). Are you saying that Carnival has done away with it????

All in all it was a GREAT trip, the only one complaint I had was that you cannot get ranch dressing unless the salad buffet is out. I like ranch on my deli stuff. That was the worst thing that went wrong for us lol! And that was very minor, so its a great ship, great staff, the Cruise Director was not very good, (Gary I think) but we don't cruise for the CD so who really cares, but it was a great time, a great ship and I hope all the people getting her in the future take care of her!

There has always been a free shuttle from the ship to the town and back when I've been in Progresso (as recently as February). Are you saying that Carnival has done away with it????

 

 

Oooo I thought they meant on the actual dock fromt he ship to the shops, the great big long road into Progresso has the free shuttle buses! We took one!! :D

We were on the same cruise as you all. We ate some of the same foods you all ate too. 7 out of the 11 of us got sick on Wed night.
