what is the white space across from DA2644 used for? I figure it is crew only - but would it be noisy being located there on the Main Deck?

 

I have a choice to go more forward, with cabins around and above the atrium area or remain more aft but across from this "white area" ---

The white space between 2630 and 2642 is mechanical space above the engine room. This is where the engine exhaust travels up to the stack. You will probable notice that the hallway will be much warmer here than farther forward, but I doubt the room temperature would be Inpacted.

so should not create a problem when sleeping? we usually prefer to be more aft to middle, than at the front......No problems with noise, etc taking this room then?
