Denali Park Hotel or Motel Nord Haven?

We will be spending 3 nights in the Denali area. Would appreciate any info you can provide on Denali Park Hotel or Motel Nord Haven. Would you choose one over the other? If so, why? Thanks for your help!

how many is "we" ? and when?

I'm only familiar with Aspen Haus. Last yr Willow cabin was $109 with continental b'fast items provided each day.

[Budget Queen]

I've stayed in only the Denali Park Hotel, of the two listed, probably about 20 nights, including 3 a couple weeks ago. It is a basic hotel, with excellent rates. The rooms are large, fridge microwave, coffee pot in the room. Drive up to the door.

 

They now are offering rail pick up/drop off along with shuttles to the access center, which opens up this hotel for those without a car, traveling independently.
