Upgrade fairy?? - almost!!!

Just had a call from my TA. Offering me an upgrade from a D1 on Deck 6 to a Junior Suite on Deck 10!! Almost in the same deck location as each other too.

 

The reason I say it was almost a visit from the Upgrade Fairy??? Well there was a cost to this upgrade - the princely sum of £4.00 or around $2.60!!

 

Did I refuse?? Nooooooooo - but waited until it has shown up in My Cruises before I posted - would not want to upset the Almost Upgrade Fairy!

 

Whilst I had the Agent on the phone I did ask how much to upgrade to a Grand Suite? That was £800 - so I passed on that one. However, will keep watching the availibility in case prices drop.

 

I am a happy cruiser!!

Congratulations on the upgrade, you'll very much enjoy the JS!

 

One thing, though, and please forgive me if this is a bit nit-picky ... your exchange rate is a bit off; the four quid you paid for the upgrade would convert out to about $7.60. :)

Seeing how you paid for it I wonder if you will get the double days for sailing in a JS? That would make it even better.

OOps - so excited that I pressed the wrong buttons on the calculator on the exchange rates.

 

I had not thought about the extra night credits but assume as it is a paid upgrade that we will get them!
