Just a final posting on this thread, we docked a little after 6am as expected and self disembark started at just before 7.10am. The first in line was an American who had a 9.10 flight from Heathrow to USA, closely followed by two UK men who were heading for the station to catch the 7.15 train to London. Somewhere on board they all must have lost their sense of reality. I was on the road by 7.20 and gat home at 9.10. The Hindhead tunnel wasn't open and there was a 30 minute crawling queue through the town. Maybe next week will be better.
