Bed Question - Grand Princess

I know the Grand just went through retrofit. Can anyone tell me if they got new mattresses? Or are they still rocks disguised to look like beds? :D We are considering a December cruise on Grand and that does affect our decision. Thanks!

In all honesty, I can't tell you when or if the Grand got new mattresses. I'm pretty sure it wasn't during drydock. But we sleep best on Princess ships, so that's no criteria either.

I'm sure there's still a rock slab under that cover. I haven't been on the Grand since drydock, so I'm just guessing. ;)

Mattresses are replaced as and when required. There was no wholesale replacement during the dry dock.

 

I am one of those who find the Princess beds very comfortable, even more so than my bed at home.
