What time do stores open?

We will be on FOS next week with a stop on Thursday in St. Martin. We dock at 8:00, but have a catamaran tour from 11:00 - 2:15. When should we plan to do our shopping? Are the stores on Front Street open at 8:00 in the morning?

Frontstreet shops will be opening between 9:00 and 10:00, but do you want to take purchases on your tour? If you shop early, plan on a trip back to the ship to drop things in your cabin.

 

I'd save shopping for last unless you're thinking of something that might need sizing.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping to shop and have time to take my purchases back to the ship before our excursion, but if the shops don't open until closer to 10:00, that seems unlikely.

 

Is there a water taxi close to Front Street that takes you back near the ship? Is it worth the wait/cost or is it just as easy to walk?
