January 1988 Itineraries Fairstar/Fairsky

Recommended Posts

I have just put all my three cruises on the Fairstar into Princess and was credited the full 54 days. I actually found the Facebook page 'Princess Cruises for Ozzies' to be the saviour as they were able to tell me what the dates were or at least the month. Maybe that is worth a go... if you are not on Facebook let me know the details you know and I will try to find out for you.

Great work and good that it was recognised by Princess.

Hi All

I am trying to get a Fairstar cruise recognised by Princess.

I have 2 issues - firstly I do not have receipts etc as my first wife and I are now divorced and all my records for that time are lost. For similar reasons, I have no memorabilia or photos.

The cruise in question was in June 1994. We flew on a charter flight to Fiji, picked up the ship and cruised back to Sydney. Can anyone help with cruise details or any other information to help me convince Princess?

Many thanks

Patrick

Hi All

I had a look through some old (digitised) newspaper adds and came across the cruise out to Fiji and then a Fiji-Fiji cruise. The dates would appear to be directly before yours.

Firstly Sydney-Suva, 10 nights departing 14-May-1994.

Secondly Suva-Suva 7 nights departing 24-May-1994.

So I assume you would have been on a Suva-Sydney cruise departing 31-May-1994 unless they did a second 7 day cruise before yours.

Hopefully someone else may have better info to help.

So it looks like you were on a 12 night cruise departing Suva 10-Jun-1994.

Some of the ports of call were Lautoka, Yasawa-I-Rara, Vila, Mystery Is, Amidee Is, Noumea. You might need to check the spelling, list is from the grainy photo.

Best of luck with princess

Judy

You're a legend Judy! I have enough info, I hope, to get back to Princess. If anyone could find the Cruise #, I think that would clinch the deal.
