Having a tough time - which would you choose?

Carnival Miracle is not a bad ship to take.

Here are some pictures of a Jr Suite, which is 275 sq. ft.

The best part is the have a huge bathroom with

double sinks, a 4 foot vanity counter before entering

the bathroom so traveling with three people I am sure this

will help..

Thanks everyone for your input. I appreciate it.

While I think overall the CROWN PRINCESS might be the better choice, it's looking more and more like we will go with CARNIVAL MIRACLE. The price for CROWN PRINCESS has already increased by about $300 since yesterday. The original category we wanted is now sold out and we would have to go to a higher category. The way it stands now, we can sail on CARNIVAL MIRACLE in a suite with prepaid gratuities for slightly less than CROWN PRINCESS. I need to set aside $$ as well for drinks, specialty restaurants, shore excursions, etc. so I have to take all that into consideration.

FYI my mom's last chemo treatment is early August so I figure by November she will be completely recovered and ready for good times. She is very full of life and loves to have fun, so I know she would enjoy herself equally on Carnival or Princess (maybe even more on Carnival). She is not one to just sit around and read. She always likes to be doing something so Carnival may actually be a little better in this regard. Both sailings have a nice mix of sea days and ports as well.

Thanks again to everyone for your well wishes and advice. It's appreciated!

My wife and I sailed on the Miracle for our last cruise. We had a great time on the ship and the islands. I do find it easier to get around the ship on the Triumph and Conquest class of ships, but other that getting turned around a couple of times it was great. I would have to go with Carnival and 8 nights myself. We have simply loved everything there is about Carnival and aren't to sure about other lines now. Just a little worried about people being rude and snoty. With the way so many of the put Carnival down here on CC. Have a great time and best of luck to your mother.

Looks great! Thanks for the pics. I think the three of us will be very comfortable in that space. Was the balcony a decent size?

Yes the balcony was a decent size.

If you got a lounge chair someone

could sleep out there.

These pictures were from the

Carnival Glory, this past February.

Cabins (Jr. Suites) on the Miracle should

be the same size as the pictures.

Have a great time and I wish your

Mother all the best..

The regular balcony rooms are

185 sq. ft.

The Jr. Suites are 275 sq, ft. Almost

100 sq. ft bigger, which makes a

huge difference..
