Rare Lois R Posted October 22, 2011 #26 Share Posted October 22, 2011 I'm on the verge of plus, if it fits in the waist then the legs/butt are huge. So here's another vote for Not Your Daughters Jeans. I even made my sis buy a pair (she thought they were way too expensive), the next week she went back for a second pair. But we have close to the same body type. It's so true that you can have a tailor adjust jeans to fit. I doubt I would ever buy a pair online, unless you know the brand well. It's like shoes, even the same shoes, pair to pair, can fit differently. Or like makeup, just because it works for one person doesn't make it right for the next. Many people have drawers full of useless products others have recommended. So, buy in person and try on a dozen pair, keep going until you find what's best for you. First try the suggestions from people who state they have the same body type you do. Hi Kathy:) I have seen these jeans in Steinmart. I think I tried a pair but maybe I am thinking of another brand because I have to wear jeans the come to my waist but these didn't do that:eek: I have found 2 pairs from PECK and PECK and I love them:D...they are acutally ankle length..one in grey and one in lavender..fits me in the waist too. I would love to find them in black but searched all the Steinmarts and they don't have my size:rolleyes:...I need a 16. They must have sold out....they had all the other sizes 4, 6, 8, 10, etc..... And I looked in the Womens Department too....those sizes were larger than I needed.... Great chatting with you:)
Rare Lois R Posted October 22, 2011 #27 Share Posted October 22, 2011 I recently discovered American Rag jeans at Macy's...they are awesome! I have a hard time with jeans because of my smaller waist & larger hips...plus I'm short. They actually have Women's Petite sizes in these jeans, and they rock! Hi,:) I am short and quite round in the waist/mid section...well, fat would be more the term:rolleyes: I love find the right jeans too. Some of the better stores have WP....(Women's Petite). They seem to be cut differently. We don't have a Macy's here but glad you found jeans that fit:) I was going through my closet, trying on some jeans that I have.... I am trying figure out what the different brands I wear have in common....LOL they fit me in the waist and the length.....I wear a brand from QVC called Denim N Co........and I have to say, they are PERFECT on me. Made for petites and fits in a 16...:D and another brand in the closet is from Chico's.....one is from their outlet and they are "Additions" and the other is called "Ulimate Platinum". Finding jeans seems to be a pain for all of us...no matter what size or shape.
