samrothstein Posted August 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2011 Is it typical buffet junk, or is it more tropical/island inspired? I'm trying to decide if I want to do the Wyndham with lunch included, or the Sheraton and going for lunch at the Fish Fry or some other place. scubagirrl Posted August 27, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2011 Bueller? So I guess I'll do the Sheraton and have lunch at fish fry then? it's been a long time since I've done that buffet, I don't remember it much, except that I wasn't impressed and vowed not to pay that much to sit indoors and each buffet food (i'm not a fan of buffet's to begin with, so take that into consideration). Personally, this wouldn't be a selling point for me. I'd rather pay for a burger, wrap or salad of MY choice without picking thru a buffet line. Maybe sheraton would be a better choice. I feel the same way about buffets. Notice the orginal "buffet junk" comment. I figured if I'm in the Bahamas I want something Bahamian to eat, not all you can eat salads and chicken tenders. Thanks for the response!
fl-raybee Posted September 1, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2011 If you like Cracked Conch---Conch Fritters---Conch Chowder---Fresh Fish---then you gotta go to Fish Fry. Every time I'm in Nassau--this is where I eat.
marshhawk Posted September 1, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Is Fish Fry at the Sheritan? Or near by? We are going to the Sheritan on a day pass, so just wondering.
samrothstein Posted September 2, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted September 2, 2011 I *think* the fish fry is between the Sheraton and the terminal on bay street. Anyone know if you can take the #10 jitney from Sheraton to fish fry? Would it be an easy walk from fish fry back to the port?
