We are sailing Caribbean Princess in Dec. We have a guaranteed balcony in the BF category. When I looked up the deck plans I saw that this was at the very front of the ship...we have sailed in a balcony in the back before and it was fine. Anybody out there have any thoughts on this category room? Are they non obstructed views?

Although you have booked a BF guaranty, until your room is assigned you won't know if you will actually end up in a BF. Since there are only four of those rooms it is very likely you will be assigned a higher grade room. If you do end up in a BF (four couples will), they are not obstructed, but may feel more motion due to being forward.
