aprime23 Posted August 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2011 Has anybody used amenity points for the steakhouse, or heard of anybody who has? Our group has 4 to use and the steakhouse is by far the one thing everybody can agree on. Before you post the link to Carnival policy, I am aware that it is NOT listed as something that is available. Just wondering if anybody that was the TC was able to do such a thing.
SadieN Posted August 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2011 If a choice is OBC then the OBC can be used for the Steakhouse.

Cricket63 Posted August 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2011 I have the same question. How do you accumulate amenity points as well? Groups receive these.
ATL2LAS Posted August 29, 2011 #6 Share Posted August 29, 2011 Amenity points are used for group bookings. Depending on the legnth of cruise and number of cabins booked, the group receives points that can be used as "extras" to enhance the trip. Carnival has a menu of items that can be chosen for this. Everything from OBC to chocolate covered strawberries. That will be up to whatever the group leader decides or the travel agent. The OBC is always a popular choice. woodey Posted August 29, 2011 #7 Share Posted August 29, 2011 I have never seen the steakhouse as a choice nor have i heard of it as a choice....i think the previous poster was right though use obc for the steakhouse.....
jetskier Posted August 29, 2011 #8 Share Posted August 29, 2011 I believe one point equates to $25. Some folks use it to book private cocktail parties (one point) or if there is not enough drinkers then take the OBC and book the party seperate.
