C at Sea Posted September 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2011 We usually choose a cabin and stick to it but decided to risk it and agree to an upgrade. Came this morning and we have been upgraded from JG Balcony to JD Balcony L310 on Lido Deck (Azura) Have never stayed on Lido Deck before. Is this a good upgrade or have they palmed us off with a cabin no-one goes for and called it an upgrade! Anything positive or negative about the cabin would be welcome! u2cruiser Posted September 1, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Did you notice in the brochure that the cabin is partially shaded? (small print under the deck plan) We can't work out why looking at the picture of the ship
londonbabe Posted September 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2011 We got upgraded about 2 months ago from a JG to a JE, and hoping we get another one :D
timetravellers Posted September 2, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2011 We've had 2 balcony cabins on lido deck and they were both lovely. Don't recall any overhang. Lovely high up view.
davecttr Posted September 2, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Just had a email from P&O upgrading my cabin AGAIN for my Ventura cruise. I started in a OF inside on B deck. Then I was upgraded to an OC inside on C deck. Today it appears I have a MA partially obstructed view outside on E deck! I wonder if it will be OK but I suppose I should not moan as with the single supplement it would have been over £300 more if I had booked it originally. At this rate I will soon be in a suite! Thinks - the ship is not full?
