littlerich46 Posted September 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Only 4 weeks now to our first ever cruise hoping the weather is going to be kind and the seas not too rough, the wife is not too sure about the inside cabin but don't intend spending too much time in there. Looking forward to seeing some of the great european cities and hopfully meeting some nice people on board.
CASPALL Posted September 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Youre in for a lovely time. Ive been in an inside cabin on Oceana - you get the best sleep ever! Just remember to set the alarm clock! Enjoy! Caryl
Sunbeam01 Posted September 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Oceana has lots of outside deck areas, so if the weather is nice (and it should be at that time of year), you will be able to sit outside or walk on the promenade deck. We had a rough experience on the North sea on our way to the Fjords last week and we had a balcony on A deck. I don't think anywhere would have made a difference though! Have fun! clairehills81 Posted September 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2011 I'm also going on that cruise with my husband and our son who will have just turned one. It's our first time too and we have an inside cabin, hoping there is enough room for the cot. My parents will also be there, although they have cruised with p and o lots of times, but not on oceana. Not long now!
Host Sharon Posted September 7, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2011 A good tip for inside cabins is to the leave the TV turned on to Bridge Cam view (with the sound off) all night and you then wait up to daylight..sort of !
