Only 4 weeks now to our first ever cruise hoping the weather is going to be kind and the seas not too rough, the wife is not too sure about the inside cabin but don't intend spending too much time in there. Looking forward to seeing some of the great european cities and hopfully meeting some nice people on board.

Oceana has lots of outside deck areas, so if the weather is nice (and it should be at that time of year), you will be able to sit outside or walk on the promenade deck.

We had a rough experience on the North sea on our way to the Fjords last week and we had a balcony on A deck. I don't think anywhere would have made a difference though!

Have fun!

I'm also going on that cruise with my husband and our son who will have just turned one. It's our first time too and we have an inside cabin, hoping there is enough room for the cot. My parents will also be there, although they have cruised with p and o lots of times, but not on oceana. Not long now!
