Solstice.. Kettle in stateroom?

As far as I know, there will only be tea/coffee making facilities in cabins when ships are sailing out of a UK port. They know we can't live without endless cups of tea! We sailed on Eclipse out of Southampton in July and had these facilities. It was great being able to make a cup of tea first thing in the morning. If they aren't there, you can always order from room service.

If you're on the Eclipse (which has those electric kettles when it's based in Southampton), but you're sailing out of Miami, can you ask your steward to bring you an electric kettle for the week?

My experience with room-service tea is that the water always comes in those insulated pots that taste of coffee, so the tea is spoiled.
