we are going to be on the eclipse on 11/26/11 in cabin 1576 aqua class cabin and was wondering how people thought of the cabin and the location of the cabin, any noise if any..this our first time on celebrity. also anyone new or hasn't been on the roll call ..drop us a line.

Hi Roger. Welcome to Celebrity! We love Celebrity and the Eclipse is our favorite ship. We were in 1606 Aqua class last year and it was awesome. You are in a great location close to the elevators and stairs. I checked the "sticky" at the top of the thread and it said your cabin is quiet with a normal size balcony. If you go straight down the hall from your cabin you will reach the Relaxation Room on the front of the ship. This is a nice quiet place to lay and read and watch the world go by. The stairs are here that go up to the Persian Gardens, which has saunas and heated tile loungers. You will get free bottled water in your cabin and flavored tea. Just put your water in your refrigerator and the cabin attendant will bring you more. You will also get fresh fruit every day and you can request specific items if you want them. They will give you a card to fill out for what time you want to get your afternoon canapes. If you don't like them (a lot of people don't), just request cheese and crackers or something different. You will find a binder in your room that has the pillow menu. I didn't know where it was when I first got there and had to ask. You also get an exanded room service breakfast menu which includes fresh squeezed juices and smoothies at no additional charge. It's really nice to sit out on your balcony and eat breakfast, especially on port days when you have to leave the ship early.

 

Your first day you will have a card from Blu in your cabin asking that you come to dinner at the regular time you selected when you booked the cruise. After that, it is anytime dining. You can also eat in the main dining room on a space available basis if you want. You won't want to miss the first night in Blu as they have filet mignon and the second formal night is lobster tail.

 

The specialty restaurants are really good on the Eclipse. We loved Qsine, a quirky fun restaurant where your menu is an ipad and the food is all served family style. Murano's is very good as well.

 

Celebrity also offers alcohol packages in case you didn't know. They include everything, not just alcohol, but bottled water, juices, energy drinks, beer, wine, soda, cocktails, etc. They have two packages, everything up to $8 is the Classic and everything up to $12 is the premium package.

Thanks for your response ..we are very excited to get on board and enjoy the cruise we been waiting for all year.
