None that I know of, but since we can get Princess Gold at no charge due to past pax perks we've been using it. I got "stuck" on a hurricane cruise with one of my dogs very ill and was thankful to have two weeks with him when we finally got home. Our rescue, Rio, is 12-1/2 and has a lot of mechanical "issues" ... the Princess ins. allows us to cancel for any reason and get 90% back in cruise credit. Yes, I know there is cancel for any reason insurance but this strategy works for us.

After January no more cruises unless it's a weekender until our "dogless" years.. we will just foster for a while.. don't ever want to be where I can't get home again..

We buy insurance with the cancel for any reason option. However, it requires you to cancel at least 2 days before your travel date. So there is a short window when it won't apply.
