carrying soda onboard

I know there has been discussion on giving soda/water etc to porters with a luggage tag on it but can you also just carry on a 12 pack of soda? I have done this on CCL but not on RCI.

They tend to look the other way with non-alcoholic beverages, as long as you aren't bringing huge amounts. The worst they'll do is take it and hold it until the last night....they have that option. However, they usually let it slide.

I wouldn't want to lug it around with me....stuff it in one of your checked bags and let them deliver it.

No problem in PC carrying 11 cans of diet coke on board. And they weren't in my checked luggage. Just carry them on, it worked fine for me
