capital6 Posted October 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2011 Anyone have any experience with adventure denali cabins in Cantwell? It looks like an interesting place to stay (with lots of interest to kids) but there are very few reviews on tripadvisor and I can't find any here. Is it in a good location to use as our accomodations for a 3 day/2 night visit to Denali National Park?
Budget Queen Posted October 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2011 There isn't a whole lot in Cantwell, of anything. It is a place to consider, IF you want to look at Denali State park. This is very unlike the National park, and you make your own "fun" here. Great for hiking and some very nice trails. Otherwise you are 30 miles south of the National Park entrance, allow 40 minutes for the drive. It would be a poor choice, if they are under construction between the two. :) I suggest you determine WHAT you are looking for to occupy your time, getting familiar with the areas, and distances, THEN look at lodging.
