MosaicSun Posted April 3, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2005 I have read several threads over the last few days discussing RCCL's policy on wine. I thought I would just put a bottle here, put a bottle there, and see what happens. Just out of curiosity, I called to find out what the rule was. The lady told me it is one bottle if you are celebrating something special and of course, the corkage fee. One bottle per person? one bottle per cabin? She said again, "one bottle." Ok, I'll try my original idea and see what happens. Let you all know next week. Wish me luck!
madelyn Posted April 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2005 You should not have a problem. We always bring a couple of bottles of wine. A glass of wine before dinner is nice. Have fun on your cruise.:) Madelyn
maxs mom Posted April 3, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2005 Don't ask, don't tell. We've been taking wine on board for 20 years....not a problem.
Nliedel Posted April 3, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2005 If you want to konw where it is (the rule from Hades) it is on their website under FAQ's.. Dumbest darn rule in the universe. I would gladly pay the corkage fee for my preffered brands... which I can purchase for less than their prices for the crud they serve (I am not at all passionate about this subject). ;)
