Insignia- Time to disembark at ports

no fuss travel

Recommended Posts

We are doing the Splendors of South America and I was wondering how long it takes before one gets ashore at either when we are docked or when we have to tender at a port? I have private tours booked and wanted a rough idea on how long it would take to start our tours. Thanks.

It will make a difference if you are tendering ashore

You need to get a tender ticket to board the tenders so be in the lounge when they open with all f your party ..ready to go when they announce your ticket colour

I think most of the time the ship is cleared within 30 minutes of docking some exceptions apply

The tour guides have a better idea than you will & will usually be waiting for you

Exactly. The guides know all of the rules and pitfalls much better than any of us can ever pretend to.

The travelers that I really admire are the ones who can ask questions with absolutely NO EGO involved!

I'm still not there, but I'm trying. :o
