Wetsuits in November

Another dreaded weather question :o ...

 

Hoping to do some swimming, snorkeling, etc. during our trip to Bermuda the second week of November. From what I have read, we should be expecting the water to be a bit cool. Water temps around 77F are tolerable, for me at least.

From what others have noted in the past, are wetsuits advisable around this time of year (early/mid Nov)? Does anyone have an idea of what water temps to expect around this time?

Per http://www.bermuda-online.org/climateweather.htm , average air temperature in November is 71.6 F, average sea temperature 73.8.

 

Since you're going in mid November these monthly averages should be a pretty good estimate for your time there.

I thought the cruise lines stopped sailing to Bermuda at the end of October because of the weather getting cooler? I loved the weather there in September, very hot and humid. Sailed my first time in mid October and the weather was in the low 80's but not as humid. Perfect. Bob:)
