Carnival Elation V1

Anyone familiar with the V1 stateroom on the Elation? Is this a nice room? Anything we need to be prepared for?

It will be a little larger than a standard cabin, have a balcony that is barely 3ft. deep, when you sit on it, your knees will touch the railings. There is no privacy whatsoever. This is a picture of the corresponding cabin on the port side, V2.

If you absolutely have to have a balcony, these and the Grand suites are the only option on elation. EM

Thanks Essiesmom. How was the motion of the ocean in this cabin? It is as far forward as you can go. Is the TV decent? How about the bathroom? Thanks again.

I have never been in one of these cabins, but I have been in a forward facing cabin on a larger ship, Carnival Splendor. The only motion I felt in rough seas was the feeling that the captain was hitting every pothole...EM
