Adventure of the Seas - Which Side

We are thinking of sailing on AOS in December 2012 and wanted to know what would be the better side of the ship for a balcony cabin? When in port we want to be able to look off our balcony and see the port and the island. Any advice?

Even if you aren't facing the dock, there are great views around you....you won't be looking "out to sea"! You'll be in a harbor and there are plenty of scenic things! You really can't predict which way the ship may dock!

In Aruba and Curacao the starboard side of the ship does exactly that.... faces out to sea. Have you ever been to either one of those ports?

I recently got of the AOS barbados route. Our room was on the starboard side, and we had good views throughout the cruise. I don't remember every island, but I think St Croix it was perpendular to the land, in Antigua, it was also sort of perpendicular to the land, I think in Barbados we were facing the island and the port side faced the sea, but can't remember for sure.
