Golf simulator onboard Sun Princess?

Recommended Posts

Nobody knows anything about the golf simulator onboard?!? Anyone?!?.....:(

Hi golfer76

I knew it was there but haven't been in. How soon do you want to know? I'll be on in 3 weeks time.

I didn't even know they had one and I've been on her 3 times

It's 4 decks above the Casino and just past Sundaes, called Princess Links

Its not a "Golf Simulator" like they have on Diamond/Sapphire...its just a minigolf layout...quite challenging - especially if the weather is a bit rough!

The simulators on the bigger ships cost...but are real simulators where they have screens and projections of various courses and you get to swing real golf clubs.

cheers

My hubby had a go at the golf simulator on Sun Princess in 2010.

I just asked him and he said for a regular golfer it was a bit of fun, and would be a bit more challenging for someone who doesn't play golf often.

You do get to use real clubs and it has the screen and projection set up. He played Pebble Beach ,but can't remember how much it was exactly but could have been around $50.00.

I remember on the first day of the cruise there was a chance to try it out briefly (for free) and have a look at the set up before booking a "game".
