Tipping in a Junior Suite

I have heard that a junior suite is not considered a suite but a larger stateroom. Would some of you who have cruised in a JS please let me know if I should be tipping like I was in a suite or a stateroom.

We usually sail in a JS and you are correct..it is not considered "sweet" enough..therefore tipping is based on a regular cabin rate ;)

The recommended tip is the same as for regular "non-suite" staterooms. The misses and I always book Junior Suites and end up tipping 15%-20% more than the recommended because we feel the cabin stewards have always gone over and above the norm.

we prepaid our gratuities for a jr suite in Jan. and they were the same as a regular stateroom
