Cruising with a 2 year old?

Hi all,

DH and I want to plan a family cruise this Feb/March. We will be traveling w/ my almost 6yo daughter (she will turn 6 in March) and my 2yo son. Wondering if anybody can give me a quick rundown of what cruiselines will accept 2yos in their kids club? I know NCL does.....anybody else? We def want to limit ourselves to lines that will take him.

Carnival's kids clubs also start at 2.

Carnival, NCL and Disney are it.

 

Some RCCL ships have a nursery, but it's not a kid's club.

It's worth mentioning that Disney's nursery (for the under 3 crowd) is not free. It's (I believe) $6/hour. But worth that money, from what I've been told! :)

We will be going on our first cruise w 2yo on Xmas day w carnival. Read that carnival changes diapers but that not all cruise lines do. Maybe some experienced others can confirm?

Yes, Carnival changes diapers. NCL pages you to change them. Hence why at that age we picked Carnival. :D (we thought it might be hard for DS to have us come in and then leave again).

Cunard take year olds and also change diapers (and have an excellent nursery, btw.)

Good point. I was thinking that I wouldn't mind being paged to change diapers, but I don't think that DS would handle us coming and going well.
