Walking to Philipsburg & Great Bay

Could an athlectic built person like myself walk to Great Bay Beach & downtown Philipsburg? How long will it take? Are there any sidewalks or is it uneven pavement?

I assume that you starting at the cruise ship pier?

 

I suspect that an athletic type like you could stroll over there (along the sidewalk) in 30 - 45 minutes, depending on how many times you stop for a cold beer on the way.

The kids in at our table said they did it in 20 minutes - but it was seriously hot that day!!!
