Cabin location-Pride-question

We're going to book a 7 day cruise on the Pride next Oct. We want a balcony room. Just got back from a cruise on the Glory and our room was above a lounge/bar and was very noisy most nights with loud music. Don't want to do that again.

Which deck would you say is best to avoid that? We like rooms in the aft section (not all the way aft but on the side of the ship.) Would consider mid-ship also. And it looks like the life boats jut out a lot on this ship so don't want those to obstruct our view.

Also, this cruise states that it come back in at 9 a.m. Is that true? Or do you actually get in a little earlier? Cruise has 3 ports-Turks/Caicos, Coco Cay and Freeport.

Thanks for the help.

7258 will exceed all of your expectations. Right by the aft elevators. Huge Balcony.

You won't regret it for a minute if it's open. Google Carnival pride 7258 and look for the

post entitled something like Shari's balcony p o r n, and you'll know I know what I am talking about. I have this room for our cruise in May. Good luck. I hope it is open.

The lifeboats may obstruct your view, but believe me, it's worth it. Let me know what you think.

We've been in cabin 7305 twice already. It's the balcony that only has another room on one side of it. It's fairly close to the elevator and the stairs. Two flights up to the Lido deck, and a short walk or elevator ride down to the main dining room. We love the location!

Decks 6 & 7 are best, or deck 5 has cabins with unobstructed balconies (look at the deck plans on Carnival's site). I wouldn't worry about obstructions on decks above 5....you will see the lifeboats below if you stand at the rail and look straight

down...otherwise you'll never know they're there. As has been said, 7258 has the "bowling alley" balcony....3 times the length of a regular one....awesome if you can score it! We've had that cabin on Legend (and 8232 above it on Miracle). We have 7258 on Miracle coming up in May. Love having lounge chairs on the balcony!:)

Unless you frequent the shows and the casino alot, more toward aft is the place to be...close to Serenity and Lido buffet and the dining room. Very convenient!

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to mention that we needed 3 balcony rooms in a row since we traveling with family so that narrows things down some.

And I've been in rooms looking down on lifeboats before and really don't like that. I know it doesn't bother most people but I like to be able to see straight down to the water. I'd give up the larger balcony to be away from the life boats.

And thanks for the information about the arrival time back to port. That's what I thought would be the case.

In that case take a look at Upper Deck after the fwd elevators but before the mid-ship ones.

Pride Deck Plans^^^

There are balconies for 3-4 and the life boats are fwd and aft.

We had 7256/7258/7260 on the Legend. (same as the Pride) 7260 is a handicap cabin and we needed that for my sister, but you could get 7254 and still have three cabins in a row with a huge balcony!

Here is a picture of ours with the dividers open.

It looks like these rooms on deck 7 are in the section that would look down on the tops of the life boats a few decks below.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I think for us we will go with the regular balcony rooms on deck 6 so we will have a view straight down to the water in the aft section of the ship but on the side not all the way looking aft.

That's an impressive balcony! We booked 6232 on the Pride for the huge balcony!

Cococay on a CCL cruise?

Normally when they give you the ship arrival time, it is usually not the actual arrival time but the time they hope to have cleared customs and begin disemarkation...although most times it is even earlier than that...

If you want aft and don't want to look down on the lifeboats I would go with anything starting at 7329-7341, so that would include 7329, 7333, 7337 or 7341...
