tp n gp Posted April 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2004 A small group (about 8 to date) are considering booking with NCL. We are searching for a cruise leaving from a Northern port over 7 days in length. So far for 2005 looks like the Southern Carribean in February from NYC. Anyone ever used the bus connection offered by NCL? We would be leaving from Harrisburg PA. We took our 1st cruise the end of March last year on the Celebrity Galaxy out of Baltimore. We like the sound of free-style crusing. We are also considering a balcony cabin. Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks
bratsuzy Posted April 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2004 As a person from PA you know how the weather will be that time of year! Fly south then hop a ship would be my advise to you! Suzanne & Michael & my little doggie (Tyler)
want2seaitall Posted April 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2004 Hey tp...are you considering the 10 nighter to so. carib on the dawn too??? I think Suzy has a point...but I'd rather try and avoid flying that time of the year...there are too many cancelled or delayed flights. We'll have to put up with a couple days of cold weather for sure. cliffd64 Posted April 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2004 We used the bus service to NY when we went on the Dawn... it was fine. Book it early however, since it tends to fill up quickly.
