Does NCL do Vow Renewal Ceremonies?

We'll be on the Star for our 10th anniversary and we'd like to renew our wedding vows. I can find info/pricing on wedding packages, but nothing for vow renewals. If they don't, we can make arrangements to do it at our church before we cruise, but my husband would really like to do it on our anniversary date when we're cruising. Anyone know???

It has been my experience that most Cruise Directors did this only when there were clergy on board. This is normally during the various sect religious holidays. Occasionally we've seen the Capt. perform these. Why not, once on board, ask the Cruise Director? Sometimes they are happy to put together a ceremony..and you get a nice little certificate.

I'll bet that the wedding planning service that NCL uses would be able to handle this, no problem, especially since there is no aspect that requires "legality", as that was taken care of 10 years ago, right .

On an American Flagged ship, the Captain is licensed to perform LEGAL marriages and also wedding vows renewals aboard the ship.

I hear that NCL America is planning to offer these services on Pride of Aloha and Pride of America.

There was a scheduled group vow renewal on the Sun during our Panama Canal trip last month, with all invited. I hope no one decided to switch spouses at this ceremony. Seriously, maybe it's a new thing NCL is instituting as a regular gig.
