Azura - Hand Gel

It's also very important, after visiting the toilet, to wash your hands BEFORE you fasten your trousers. Otherwise, as soon as you touch your belt, you've completely undone the effect. Also, belts must be thoroughly washed at least once a day, preferably more.

As for the gel, once it's dried out your hands to the extent that they start to bleed, is it permitted to stop using it?

just recently back from ventura and we *had* to use it at the buffets and on gangways

none in the table service restaurants but agree that it doesnt "matter" so much in there

Just off Ventura. Whilst it is available at both locations it was never enforced, neither on this trip or our two previous ones on Ventura and our trip on Azura.

I saw a lady on Ventura recently walk past the gel, decline a tray from the waitress and place her hand on a plate to feel how warm it was. She then decided she wanted a cold plate and walked off having left her germs on the plate for the next passenger. I challenged her and she reluctantly picked it up and handed it to the waitress to take away. The same happens with people 'squeezing' the bread rolls or breakfast baked items to 'test' them and then walk off.

Unfortunately it is likely that those who pick up infections are the passengers following these people into the buffet and not the offending passenger themselves.
