Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted January 5, 2012 #26 Share Posted January 5, 2012 in terms of regular power strips, we have 3 rooms on last cruise....a power strip in for each room in someone's luggage. 1-power strip was confiscated, 2 were not..... ... Was this in checked luggage? How were you informed, and did you ask to get it back then - or did they return it at the end of the cruise? near the beach Posted January 5, 2012 #27 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I have and use a Belkin mini. The problem I have with it is that the plug sockets are too close together to plug in things that have a large adapter plug.
FloridaGators Posted January 5, 2012 #28 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I use the mini Belkin also. One time the cabin attendant unpluged it and left it on the counter, so now during the day I leave it in the drawer and just plug everything in to charge at night. :)
Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted January 5, 2012 #29 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I have and use a Belkin mini. The problem I have with it is that the plug sockets are too close together to plug in things that have a large adapter plug. I also bring along a short (~10") extension cord with 3 plugs at one end. It would also be handy if you can't get the adapter itself into a wall outlet, though I have not had that need up to this point. In addition to that I also bring a standard 3-way plug and extension cord. Tom
