This is a great port to do on your own. As for a short tour, you can take your pick from the vendors at the pier.

Why not check out the east side of the island? Beautiful, undeveloped scenery with a couple of beach stops/restaurants to explore. Hire a driver /rent a car and make stops when and for how long you want, or maybe check out the Cozumel Bar Hop Bus (they do several of those stops).

 

Cozumel is a beautiful port of call, and very easy to navigate. Lots of options, and fun and interesting things to do. Clackey has given you two great resources, but continue to do a little research on these boards and I'm sure you'll find the perfect fit.

Angel is right on. The wildside is well worth a trip and the view from Coconuts is to die for. Don't forget the camera.
