Formal Nights on the Dream 7 night Eastern?

We are thinking about booking the steakhouse and was wondering which nights are formal nights so that we don't book the steakhouse on those nights and miss them.:D Also, is it necessary to book in advance or can we wait until we are on the ship? Thanks!

The Elegant nights are night 2 and night 6. We usually pre-book, but a couple of times we didn't get any confirmation so we checked when we got onboard and we didn't have reservations, so we booked onboard.

 

A suggestion is to look at the menus that are posted on John Heald's blog as well as by Zydecocruiser (sp) and see which night's menu doesn't look good to you. You can then book online and not have to be concerned that you won't be able to get reservations for the night you want.

 

Another thought, if you drink wine with dinner, the first night has a bottle of free wine at the Steakhouse. We love the Steakhouse on Dream and always go at least once, sometimes more. Enjoy.

I do believe you can. I personally haven't had to do that, but if you aren't able to go, I suggest canceling as soon as you know. Perhaps someone who has had to cancel can tell you more definitely.
