Boarding Time for the Century April 5, 2012 Hawaii Cruise?

Just thinking about the boarding logistics. The Century is supposed to dock in Ensenada at 3am April 5th. By the time they clear Mexican authorities, disembark all the passengers and their luggage what time do you think she can start to sail empty to San Diego? How long a trip to San Diego? Then she has to clear US Customs and Immigration for all the crew onboard. What time do you think we can reasonably plan on boarding as we don't sail until 11:30 pm.

Thanks for any past experiences!

We're on the same cruise.

Will probably arrive at the pier around 1/1:30.

Thanks Jack,

I thought that might be the timing - we experienced disembarcation in San Diego in April and Customs and Border patrol were rough on the both crew and passengers - we were held up for a long time - hopefully we can get on board about 2? Do you think we can check bags at the pier in the morning and walk around until boarding time? I posted this to the roll call also but thought some people on the general board may have experienced this before?!

Thanks for all the replies - especially the one from Gonzo because he is so hot on Cruise Critic - what an honor! We arrive to SD the day before the cruise so have time to chill a bit before boarding. We have always liked sail away parties on past cruises but now that we don't leave until 11:30pm what do we do?
