Kiwi_cruiser Posted January 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2012 For us it depends on where the ship is going and the cost... As we are looking at doing a cruise from either Hawaii or San Francisco to Australia / New Zealand.

Its hard to pick one over the other. All three lines are great and they will all give you a wonderful cruse experience. Its going to come down to ; when you want to go, where you want to go to , and How much you are prepared to pay. What could also swing it , is what the cruise line and /or Travel agent are prepared to give you in return for your custom.... ie a discounted or sale price cruise fare, and /or an On Board Credit, for you to spend on whatever you want while on board. rugbypopsie Posted January 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2012 We are paying 5.5k ish for our mid ship balcony on the Ocean Princess 28 nights Honolulu to Sydney including NZ...seemed reasonable to me the intinerary looks good and plenty of sea days to relax. Kiwi Kruzer Posted January 23, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 23, 2012 looking at doing a cruise to Fiji or New zealand.still deciding. What time of the year? Perhaps weather will dictate? Feb/March is best for NZ You would want to try and avoid the rainy/cyclone season in Fiji.

We just came home from a fantastic cruise to the South Pacific yesterday on Sun Princess and had an awesome time. I will be posting a review and more info. on our choice when me body stops swaying. First time I have had land sickness instead of sea sickness.;) Kerry :)
The_Big_M Posted January 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2012 Depends also on personal taste - what are you looking for most? E.g. RCL has more physical activities than the other two, but is weaker in food, Princess has better quality, but is quieter/less activity in the evening, and so on. All are good, but each have different strengths.
