Casino's on the ships

booked on the Dawn 7/18, received all our paperwork today, sooo.....excited. My question is, since I have never been in a ship Casino, only Atlantic City Casino's. Do the slot machines take $$$ or do you buy a card or something like that, do you have to put this on your ship board account. Can you use good old cash. How are they at proofing ages, my son is 19 and he wants to at least go in. Thanks this will solve some of my questions.

The slot machines take bills. (you can also get tokens at the cashier cage if you prefer to put coin in).

Not sure about the age restrictions, but I think it may be a problem if he had a big win and it was discovered he was underage.

On our last cruise the age to be in the casinos was 21. My daughter was 18 and played the slots a couple of time and nobody checked her age. I just checked NCL's website and the age is still 21.
