teachin4cruisemoney Posted March 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Weare looking at booking a Thanksgiving cruise out of NO this year. I'm from the sou th.so.I know that the weather can change from hot to cold anytime of the year. For all of you experienced cruisers, what can we expect the weather to be like in Jamaica and Cozumel during that time of year. Also... any tips on the Conquest would be greatly appreciated... combatboots2jimmychoos Posted March 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Cruised out of New Orleans for Christmas 09 on the Triumph and the first night was freezing leaving port (but all the guys were on the deck watching some big game with blankets from the rooms). First sea day was jeans and sweater. After that, we were in nice sunny 80 degree weather in Cozumel, Belize and Roatan. Last sea day and debarkation were just as chilly as day 1. MicksMom Posted March 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2012 We cruised out of Galveston the first week of January twice. First time the weather was beautiful all week. Warm enough for swimming in all 3 ports. Second cruise it was cool all week, only in the 60's in MoBay. Kids snorkeled in GC, they said it was ok until they got out of the water. Temps in TX were very cold the entire week we were gone... We Love the Conquest. Happy Cruising!!
Rare Banditswife Posted March 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Did the Legend out of Tampa early Dec 2011. Weather was fantastic-not too hot, not too cool, cool on deck in the evenings. Pack a light jacket or sweatshirt. Conquest is a great ship, was a great crew at the time of our sailing.
