Best Blues Club in NOLA?

I will be in New Orleans 4/6-4/8 prior to boarding the NCL Spirit. I am a Blues lover. What is the best blues club near the FQ? Spotted Cat? any suggestions?

The Spotted Cat is a classic New Orleans hole-in-the-wall bar with great local music. It is in a three block stretch of Frenchmen Street with several other similar places: Apple Barrel, Blue Nile, d.b.a., Maison, Snug Harbor and Three Muses.

Thanks for the reply. I planned on hitting Frenchman Street anyway. Just wasnt sure if there was a club just for Blues. Looking forward to hearing some great tunes!

There's a House of Blues, but we haven't been there. You might google HOB.

Frenchmen St is where you want to go, but there is also the Funky Pirate right on Bourbon St in the French Quarter. You will enjoy Big Al there.
