TheD1gitalMe Posted March 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2012 We have some Onboard Credit to use on our upcoming cruise and want to use it to pay for excursions but don't want to get to the Explorations Desk onboard to find the excursions we want to do are full. Is there generally plenty of spaces left or do popular tours fill up quickly?

Rumor is they hold a certain percentage for onboard booking, but still if you aren´t first in line you never know if someone just ahead of you got the last spot. Yes popular tours fill quickly and some tours have limited spots.
Mom.to.2 Posted March 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Might you consider using your OBC to pay for tips instead? That is unless you're doing MTD. You'll have to weigh whether it's worth the risk not to prebook a cruise in order to use your OBC in that manner. Popular excursions definitely fill. TheD1gitalMe Posted March 11, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted March 11, 2012 We're on MTD and the only other thing we would spend it on is Alcohol. It just seem silly to pay out of our own money when we have spare OBC. We'll just have to rush down their as soon as we're on board. Thanks
39august Posted March 11, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2012 You can also book from your cabin TV. And if the OBC came from a source other than RCI direct, you can cash out any unused credit on the last day at Guest Services. I have done this more than once.
