Booking excursions onboard

Recommended Posts

We have some Onboard Credit to use on our upcoming cruise and want to use it to pay for excursions but don't want to get to the Explorations Desk onboard to find the excursions we want to do are full.

Is there generally plenty of spaces left or do popular tours fill up quickly?

Rumor is they hold a certain percentage for onboard booking, but still if you aren´t first in line you never know if someone just ahead of you got the last spot. Yes popular tours fill quickly and some tours have limited spots.

Might you consider using your OBC to pay for tips instead? That is unless you're doing MTD.

You'll have to weigh whether it's worth the risk not to prebook a cruise in order to use your OBC in that manner. Popular excursions definitely fill.
