LAX Terminal 6

Alaska Airlines just notified that they are now flying into Terminal 6, is this a new terminal? Only asking as we will be flying in next month and want to get to the baggage and out to shuttle pick up area ASAP. Does this terminal require a shuttle to baggage?? thanks

No. Just walk to baggage claim, then step outside for rental car/hotel/parking shuttles.

Just flew AS last night from LAX. New digs are a step up from the ancient T3 at LAX. Board Room is nice, though they have not gotten their liquor license yet.

 

With the move, there is no longer an airside bus shuttle between T3 and T5 (Delta). DL/AS connections now use the tunnel between the two terminals buildings (with a golf-cart for those needing assistance).
