Tour Guide: Prague

I would like a recommendation for a personal tour guide for Old Town Prague in December 2012. Just two people in our group. Thanks.

We did one of the free tours - Sandemans, I think - and did not have to prebook. Just showed up on the Old Town Square. We were the only ones who were there that day, so it was a private tour for us. The guide was young and enthusiastic and very informative. You give a tip at the end. I would definitely recommend.

We have used Katarina Kruspanova on two occasions. Her English is excellent. On those occasions, we hired her to drive us to our ancestral villages. One time when we were in Prague and weren't looking for a guide, we invited her to have dinner with us because we enjoy her company.

We booked Eva through Caput Regni Private Tours. She (and the company) were absolutely outstanding.

 

We took two four hour walking tours of Prague with her and really got to know the city.

 

We had been in Prague before and thought we knew the town but were we wrong. Eva is a superb guide who really brings life to her tours. Other people in our group took tours with other guides and were jealous when we showed them pictures of the sites we saw that they missed. We even had to take some of them to see those sites.

 

Eva speaks fluent English and I highly recommend anyone use her as a guide.
