Smugglers Cove Tortola BVI

Hi everyone..

I know someone here can help me (as usual)

I found two beaches that look great but not sure how long it would take to get a cab there and back. If anyone knows how long it would take to go from Road Town(the dock) to Smugglers Cove on the West End of Tortola I would appreciate it. I am also thinking about Brewers Bay I think that one is closer but the reviews on snorkeling are making me lean towards Smuggles Cove.

 

We will see what the CC'ers say in regard to travel time.

Cane Garden Bay is also beautiful! I'm not sure if there is snorkeling but the beach is beautiful and a short cab ride away.

Thank you for the info...and the link...as usual very helpful.

I do think I might take the taxi out there b/c the pics are really nice and it is away from everything so I think it will be more relaxing.

From what I read via the net there is a bar and resturaunt there now so that is a good thing.

While we are discussing Tortola.....Are the Baths at Virgin Gorda worth the trip? Is is that beautiful there or just a place to say you have been to, if you know what I mean....would a beach day be more fun?

The Baths are incredible and something IMHO not to be missed. There is a nice beach there so you can make it a beach day. We went last May and are going again next week.

We really did love it there. Wish we could have stayed longer.We had so much fun and can't wait to go again. I don't think you'll be sorry if you go!
